Our School dog: Pickles

Pickles is a Working Cocker Spaniel. He is Mrs Bishop's family dog and now our school dog as well.

He was born in Kirby Wharfe, near to Tadcaster and comes from a family of working dogs.

Pickles will be in school most days with Mrs Bishop. He lives in the school office and has a cosy den and bed with lots of toys.

Pickles is now being trained as a PAWS Therapy Dog. This will enable him to be used as an assistance dog to support children who are dysregulated, need support or just a bit of comfort and love from a very loving animal.
